On Thursday, October 16, JewishERGs brought together more than 130 participants from 7 countries for an online commemoration titled “Together We Remember October 7th.”
The event marked two years since the Hamas attack on Israel in 2023, offering a space for reflection, remembrance, and connection across the global Jewish community.
The program featured the testimony of Adam Ma’anit, who shared his family’s experience during the attacks, providing a deeply personal perspective on the lasting human toll. Attendees then joined in lighting a virtual memorial candle before reciting prayers in memory of the victims led by Rabbi Aaron Gaber.
Following the commemoration, participants moved into breakout rooms to meet and speak with fellow Jews and allies from around the world, fostering dialogue, solidarity and strengthening community.
