We are shocked and saddened by the attack on Bondi Beach in Australia during celebrations of the first night of Chanukah.
To see Jews murdered during celebrations of a festival all about light is heart breaking and deeply disturbing.
We want to repeat the messaged we shared in the past:
To our business leaders, managers,
colleagues, and allies:
Your Jewish employees are likely to be feeling afraid right now.
This is a moment that calls not only for empathy, but for action.
Now is the time to stand up, speak out, and condemn this hate.
We expect employers to support Jewish employees in continuing to hold Chanukah celebrations and to take a zero-tolerance approach to any employee justifying or glorifying this attack.
